The wolven-hatted ecologist Thomas Haynes and his badger-ally Bristol have returned to the meadow to manifest the ‘Grass & Thyme’ EP featuring tracks from their debut LP ‘Flames, Doorways, Grass & Time’ and new recordings of songs that have become regular performance pieces in Grasslands’ live repertoire.

The EP includes the epic 11 minute-long ‘Ambient Groceries’ which starts with the bustling din of the supermarket and transcends into a roaring drone track complete with bowed guitars, glockenspiels, layered thumping drums and the repeating refrain of ‘When I walk through the aisles, of the shadows of death, I see Mars Bars’.
